During the rains and wind of Autumn 2003 we had arranged our delivery of the Jablite roofing panels.

Prior to this we had to have the roof ready to receive them.

This was done through building the walls up to the peak of what was going to be the roof and putting beams beween them on which the panels would rest.

The Jablite panels would then be nailed down on to these beams which in turn had triangle wedge shaped beams screwed or bolted to the top of them following the line of the inner roof.

The blockwork walls were very carefully built up so that they had an exact agle that matched the proposed laying of the roofing panels.

This was very much new territory for the firm of building contractors that we employed, however we had clearly chosen well as not only did the structural steel and wood beams fit exactly but so did the roofing panels when we advanced to the point of fitting them.
